in•cu•ba•tor -(in'kyu-b_"tur)—n., a place that fosters the conditions in which culture can be grown
Since 1996, CELLspace has served as an incubator and partner for the
Bay Area's emerging arts community. In this dynamic community art space
we offer a place to actualize new artistic and educational experiences
to individuals, groups, and organizations. Around this page are the
names of people, community initiatives, and special events that have
all been associated with or incubated within CELLspace - all examples
of successes stemming from the cultural nurturance of this
collaborative environment.
For the upcoming year, we are asking that you join us as partners in
providing community support for this indispensable arts incubator. We
launch 2008 with a new membership program: a way to directly support
new art and keep CELLspace as a resource to all. A
CELL does not survive alone; its lifeblood is in the flow of
individuals that make up the community. It is you, coming through the
door, that has MADE THIS SPACE. CELLspace is proud to have been a
part of this community for the past 12 years, and now we are
asking more of you than ever before: Please become a member.
As public radio is listener sponsored and public television is viewer
sponsored, CELLspace is community sponsored. If each person who came
through the doors became a CELLspace Member, we would have more than
enough resources to bring the art, classes, and events you want. Please
support your art community: every contribution counts.
Sincerely,
CELLspace Community
