Here's some of the latest happenings to hit CELLspace:

1. 1/20 Action Day Community Workday at CELLspace

THIS SUNDAY!
9am: Pancake Breakfast
10am: work projects for volunteers of all skill levels
1pm: lunch
2pm: keep working and having fun!

This Sunday from 9am on will be having an Action Day at CELLspace…
Well what is an Action Day anyway? Action Day comes from a Free City  
within the state of Denmark called Christiania. Check out the story  
of this fascinating place here.

Acton Dag or Action Day in Christiania saw the residents meeting in  
the people's hall in the morning for a large free breakfast, coffee  
and tea. After some gathering of force a large board was brought out  
with tasks that had previously been identified. Teams would form and  
go out to fix and clean the free town. Lunch and a big dinner were  
provided as well as passes to the community sauna house at the end of  
the day. Not only was a massive amount of work done on this day but  
also the community bonds were strengthened and new friends were made.

CELLspace has for the last ten years has been proud to embrace this  
tradition with our own Action Day. This Sunday the 20th we will be  
opening the doors of the Cell at 9am with a large pancake breakfast  
with fun projects starting at 10am. We will be breaking into work  
groups to clean, paint, construct and generally beatify and improve  
the Cell Space. We will have lunch and dinner as well as a few  
surprises throughout the day. This is a great time to meet the folks  
of Cell and have a blast working together. Feel free to stop in at  
any time on Sunday to join us!
